Beauty World Centre

Beauty World Centre got its name from the market that once stood opposite. Formerly the Tai Tong Ah (Da Dong Ya) Amusement Park, it was converted into a market after the Japanese Occupation, when its popularity declined. This new market, Beauty World, was named for the daughter of Mr Giam, one of its owners.

The air-conditioned complex was designed as a 5-storey shopping centre and a 20-storey residential block.

  2. Giant Express

  3. Other Tuition Centres and Enrichment Centres.

Opening Hours: 8.30am-10pm

​

Directions:

  1. Take the bus at the bus stop near Gate 3 and alight 1 stop later, at Sixth Avenue.

  2. Take the MRT at Sixth Avenue until Beauty World.

  3. Beauty World Centre is next to Beauty World Plaza, and is near to Beauty World MRT Exit A.
